/The Moon: Our lives always reflect the times in which we live, but also our lives make the times. The moon takes the sun’s emanation and gives it back to us through the dark of night, sometimes in crimson splendor and sometimes as a sliver glimmering, almost too thin to be seen. How this happens is science. Why it happens is a mystery shimmering under the surface of our ability to know. What in your life is like this? What do you understand the mechanics of but not the purpose, the ultimate function? How might it serve you to live into that mystery, to take the unknown and give it a place of honor among the drivers of your life? To stand on the moon and give grace, yours and a star’s, without withholding?
